David Lammy

Croydonian has a nice little story about our ghastly Member of Parliament, David Lammy - the man who led a botched campaign to save KFC from closing in Tottenham High Road.

Lammy has been out of his depth in every single ministerial job he's ever had. It's not just right-wing parliamentary sketch writers who think he should be sacked; it's a growing number of people in the Tottenham Labour Party. Several local Labour councillors, whom I know, really detest him and openly talk about wanting to de-select him. Well, now is the time to do it! If we have to have a Labour MP, is it not asking for too much for him/her to be a good parliamentarian, a good constituency MP and isn't afraid to rebel against party whips?
